PEUT GUARD

Peut Guard is a project by the artist Eugene Macki that consists of multiple entities. The aim is to facilitate and contribute to the evolution of art and artistic practice.

THE PEUT GUARD ARTIST AWARD

The Grange Projects welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic artists based in the UK to apply for the 2023 Peut Guard Artist Award at The Grange Projects.

 

The successful applicant will be in residence for a week in August 2023 and will join other artists as part of The Grange Projects In Residence Programme.

 

The Peut Guard Artist Award will cover all costs associated with the In Residence Programme. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the selected artist.

  •  A statement outlining what you propose to focus on during the residency (max 250 words)

The Peut Guard Artist Award

The aim of the award is to provide a platform for artists based in the UK who identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic. There are no prescribed outcomes, and the only requirement is for the selected artist to focus on their practice. 

 

The Grange Projects

The Grange Projects hosts integrated artistic activity at The Grange in Norfolk. Offered in the spirit of generosity and reciprocity by artist family Dr Nicola Streeten, John Plowman with help and advice from daughter Sally Plowman, Located in the village of Great Cressingham, Norfolk, The Grange was originally built as a rectory. This wonderful Georgian house is set in 10 acres of tranquil gardens and grounds. It is a beautiful and magical place offering simple, comfortable accommodation and work/studio space.
